For Mirzam, painting is the language of the soul, and colors are its words. She loves experimenting with bright colors, mixed media, and mixed techniques, mostly in large scale canvases; this allows her to bring her viewers into the fold of emotions and feelings that inspire her work.

These works reflect pain, joy, frustrations and ultimately, an intense desire to celebrate life. Her art is influenced by the world around her and her personal encounters as seen through the lens of her own color wheel – the interplay between color and emotion.
